Are the 2025's in a holding pattern?

In the Louisville area and on the official Ram website. All local 2025's have been showing being built for 2 plus weeks.

Not buying as I have a 2023 1500 Laramie Sport that I love.

But I like to remain knowledgeable on the new trucks.

Plus I actually think that the mid-cycle Ram Rebel looks better.

My local dealer has showed 13 2025's all still being built for the past three weeks as well. Not sure what the deal is, I've only actually heard of one being on a dealer lot in TX.

My Dealer has 4 2025s nothing higher than a Laramie on their web site saying being built for 3 and a half weeks now. not sure what's going on and it has been very quiet. nothing on the high-end models or if they even started production on schedule or not on 3-5-24. I seen some literature on the web somewhere referencing the 2025 official sales date of late March. I wonder if that has something to do with the way the dealer web sites are displaying 2025s. it seems like there is a media lockout of sorts lately after the release of the drive reviews happened.

If you search for 2025 Ram 1500 and select "Nationwide", you get a number back like 11,000 ish. I've been looking daily and the total number has been steadily increasing. Not sure what this tells us, but it is movement... at least considering the number of "Being Built" trucks go.

Sounds like 1 slipped through the cracks. Makes you wonder if they’re holding them and then shipping a huge lot of them at one time. My dealer said their trucks are done but just sitting and waiting to be shipped. Ram said in their marketing they’d be available in Q1 which ends in two weeks. Not sure what “available” means in rams eyes but to me available means at a dealer.

I don't want a Ford like situation with trucks in lots by the tens of thousands.

We've got:

41 of them at body vendor (meaning done with inspection)
35 in Inspection
9 in Production
52 Scheduled to be built between now and 4/1

now all of those are either Bighorn or Laramie though

What is the daily build rate?
Here's something I posted in another thread. I cited the source in the same thread. I think this might be accurate based on the 11,000+ 2025 1500s listed as being built and considering they're probably still ramping up production speeds.

"I just did some digging. Apparently Ram manufacturers about 40,000 trucks per month. If that's accurate, I'm surprised that they've only had 665 2025 lower trims listed as "being built" for over a week. I couldn't find a breakdown of 1500 vs 2500 etc, but I'd guess that it's well over 50% the 1500. Surely they'll be listing more soon?"

This is the only 2025 I believe that is live at a dealer. Someone mentioned it in another forum and I am not sure who posted it. My dealer said he has heard nothing it is very quiet.

It was posted in the 2025 hurricane thread.
That one is on the ground at the dealer, saw it last week. They've since posted pics online

The wheels look terrible, and so do the tail lights. I am also not a fan of the front grille/ fascia, and the huge chrome R-A-M letters on the tailgate are hideous.

IMO this is a big step back in the aesthetics department. It looks like they made a bunch of changes just for the sake of making changes. It somehow looks more outdated to me than the 19-24s. Just my opinion of course.

What a step back in just the looks department looks like they went into their cheap parts bin and just starting using what they had. Wheels look hideous, taillights look much cheaper than previous years.. grill w/ the Ram logo idk what they were trying to do. At least it has the latest version of the wireless charger that’s one positive. If i was in the market today and this was my local dealer I save my pennies and buy one of those much nicer looking 2024s but I would of course go the Mark Dodge route since I know better.

well at least on that particular one has the rear fender liners 😭. Guess they figure they’ll screw you elsewhere.
