I'll get some better pictures and more details later. I've yet to see pics of the off road package on a tungsten so here they are. Crappy angle but IMO looks great in person.

First and foremost, the new sound system. It's absolutely insane. So far above the Harmon Kardon in my limited. It's also noticeably better than the McIntosh in my wife's GW. I'd argue it's the best sounding OEM system I've ever heard.

Next up, the engine. It's smooth and it's fast, but as suspected it's quite boring to drive. The positive is it's so quiet that I'm not embarrassed. Those Ecoboost sound like weed eaters. But to clarify again, it's definitely quick and there is almost no lag. I haven't floored it from a stop but I imagine it won't disappoint. Please keep in mind I learned to drive stick shift at 16 on an 98 bored and stroked Viper with nearly 800hp...so what's boring to me might not be to others

The interior is amazing. No real complaints. The seats are by far the most comfortable I've ever experienced in a truck. This interior is well above the limited, which is above the Denali ultimate, which is light years ahead of the Ford limiteds. Ram hit a home run with it. If I had to nitpick one thing it would be the lack of a physical seat warmer/cooler button..perhaps it exists but I've yet to find it

And for those wondering about the ride with the 22s and off road package...it rides great IMO and the slightly more aggressive tires give it a nice look. I'm debating a leveling kit but then again I don't want any chance of being hassled about warranty. It could be in my head but I feel like the turning radius is slightly reduced from my 19 limited...but that's likely in my head

I've since added ceramic tint and I'll post pics after it gets back from the dealership. 20% all the way around, 30% pano roof and 50% windshield.

If you have any questions let me know, I'm happy to help where I can.

That’s a nice looking truck. The rims complement the paint.
I gotta say, I really like the HK system in my 23 limited, if you feel this new system is that much better, wowser!!
I really like what they did with the interior. My wife’s GC Overland has the Macintosh system, I have to say…it’s not very impressive to me compared to my HK in my 23 Limited.

Congrats…beautiful rig there.

I agree the limited HK is nuts itself. Flawless system. The only reason I gave the nod to the GW McIntosh is due to sound quality and cleaner sub, but it's way too quiet. You can really crank that HK system up. One thing is for certain, the Chrysler group has some insane OEM radios. But yeah, I've only had a day with the new Klipsch but it's loud, I've only turned it up 1/3 of the way and it hits.

I love the interior on the Tungsten. World class IMO. Sound is most definitely subjective. I haven't heard an OE system yet I liked. I'll be curious to check out the sound in this one. Tweeters finally ended up in the A pillars where they belong. :)

Some reviews said there's no bass to the Klipsch system? What's your feeling so far?

Their system may defective. I'll explain why.

I put on the best hitting song I know, Go N' Get It - Ace Hood, and it hit like an aftermarket 12" Sub. Highest volume I went was 1/3 and it was fairly loud. I'm hesitant to run it too hard until it's broken in. Audio settings were treble at max, bass at 9 and mids at -1.

Here was the first "glitch" I experienced. Without warning the sub went out completely and the quality of the system reduced. I'm not sure if there is some built in safety mechanism or what. I turned the truck off and restarted it but it was still off. After about an hour the system was back to normal.

What I'm thinking is some people might not be experiencing the sub at all given mine went out for a bit.

When I get my truck back Tuesday I'll test more music on it, but based on how much I felt the bass on the inside I assume it's audible outside as well.

PS. My credentials, I had an expedition back in 2000 with 4 Memphis Dual Voice Coil 10s powered by 2 fosgate 1000watt D class amps, which I later upgraded to 12s. Now that hit.

J, do you still get the full air ride suspension that is in the regular Tungsten with the off road package? Also, can you delete the 4x4 graphics?

Yes,

I still have the air suspension, only it permanently runs an inch higher. It also has heavy duty shocks. Comparing to my 19 Limited, the 25 air suspensions works much faster. It goes up very quickly, I'm not sure if this is unique to the offroad package or if all 2025s with air are like this.

One thing I have noticed comparing my 2025 Tungsten Offroad to my 2019 Limited, the Tungsten handles much better. I think it's due to the heavy duty shocks. It still rides great but definitely is tighter in the corners. I'm very happy with the package.

Regarding the graphics, there is no factory delete. You would need to remove them yourself.

JAG…
When you say it handles better… can you comment on…if you mean it tracks corners better, soaks up bumps/potholes, etc., better.
Rare to find any kind of suspension that does both….
My 15 limited had 20” rims, air ride.
My 23 has 22’s. I notice no difference in bump/shock absorption, but I do notice the 23 with the 22” rims does track a tad better during corners. That could be the rims….
I’m curious if the off road shocks ride better over normal road conditions..

I ordered my Tungsten with offroad package, and didn’t know it comes with decal. I think it looks ugly on the truck.. Good advise I’ll get rid of it too.

Dumb question (never had Ram and it’s my first Ram) - Are you able to adjust the height? Or it’s normally set higher and I have to manually adjust and lower it?
How’s the Falken tires ride? Any noise or issue?

Tires with a taller sidewall will have better "bump" absorption while giving up some handling due to sidewall deflection. This is assuming all things are equal (a 10 ply tire will inherently ride rougher than a 4 ply, regardless of sidewall differences).

A lifted suspension will "usually" have better ride quality than a lowered suspension due to the design. Lowered suspensions have to limit overall travel to prevent bottoming the shock or vehicle. A lifted vehicle will usually have considerably more suspension travel, which will absorb bumps much better. Drive a raptor around and you'll see what I mean. Those things ride like a cadillac down the highway, but of course don't handle corners very well because of it. Everything is a trade off.

You want the best riding vehicle, run a 17" tire (with minimal air pressure) on a lifted truck. You want the best handling vehicle, run a 22/24" tire on a lowered vehicle.

*Concerning air suspension. This will be the only anomaly as bags work differently than struts/shocks. The more air in the bag, the rougher it will ride. So the ORG will ride stiffer than vehicles without it, due to the extra air in the bag to get the 1" additional lift. As far as handling it may be splitting hairs. The ORG has a higher center of gravity, but will have less "wallow" due to the stiffer bag having less deflection, similar to more vs less air pressure in a tire.

Trucks with factory air suspension are adjustable (to an extent). The truck will automatically lower .6 of an inch at highway speed. You can lower vehicle about 2" in exit mode (good till around 5mph I believe) or raise in OR1 or OR2 mode which is also low speed dependent (around 15 mph). Some trucks like the Rebel only have one OR mode due to them already being an inch higher from the factory.

22's are much rougher than 20's. OE tires are pretty quiet. I just swapped my OE tires for aftermarket and they are considerably more noisy. If you leave the factory ANC alone, the truck will be pretty quiet regardless though (I did not).

So both trucks have the 22s. The key difference being the offroad package and tires. On the 19 I immediately ditched the goodyears and switched over to Michelin Defenders, same for my wife's GW. Excellent tires.

What I mean by handling better is there is less body roll. It definitely rides slightly stiffer than the 19 but I feel it handles bumps well and feels tighter overall.

Here is my understanding:

Standard Air Suspension - 5 settings
1. Entry/exit
2. Aero
3. Normal
4. Offroad 1
5. Offroad 2

Offroad Group Air Suspension - 4 Settings - Normal Ride height is equal to Offroad 1 with the standard air suspension
1. Entry/exit
2. Aero
3. Normal
4. Offroad

And for the tires, so far they are great. Smooth, quiet, and give the truck a slightly more aggressive look. Time will tell how they wear..

^^^ Yup.

It is speed limited depending on mode, and some you have to manually adjust. It just doesn't automatically go into off road mode, for example, when you put vehicle in 4x4; you'd have to manually engage it. It will automatically disengage at speed though.

You are making me want a 25! Please stop posting about it :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Great review on the truck and I really want to hear the new Klipsch system, we have GW with the McIntosh system and it really is clear and bright, the bass is not overly active like my Ram's Alpine system, but I still run about -1 on the bass.
