Good question. I typically keep trucks about 10 years. I'm retired now, and putting on a lot less miles than I used to. But my extended warranty ends at 120k miles. Based on previous experience, I probably will not keep the truck beyond that. How long are you going to keep the truck? 4 sets of tires even considering a short life of 40K miles a set is still 160K miles.

That's where I'm leaning now. I do like the stock wheels. I guess with a truck that has this crazy price, have to be willing to pay for tires, too. The off road package has 22" tires, and I haven't heard anybody with that package complain.I'd probably pay the extra and keep the stock wheels, unless you don't like them, and get 22" tires. Sell the stock tires to help offset the cost of the new tires; if the new set is only $100-125 more than 20"s would be, you should be able to offset at least 3 sets of tires. You should be able to get $300-400 for low mileage stock tires

I have to add that my rear tires are wearing quite fast. I'm not an aggressive driver, but have to admit that I really have to make an effort to go easy on take-offs. This truck has a lot of power....
