Anyone with a 2025+ truck experience the common rear window / 3rd brake light leak yet? I'm wondering if I should be proactive and seal up my 3rd brake light and rear glass on my 2026 or has the issue seemed to have been solved?

I plan to apply sealant to my 2026 as soon as it warms up outside. I'm not sure if it is still a going concern, but it can't hurt to do it anyway.

After dealing with water intrusion into the racetrack tail light lens on my Durango (also a super common problem - notice how many you see on the road with the lower portion burned out), this issue is very familiar and is fixed using the same methods. There's some group of clowns in FCA engineering that clearly doesn't understand basic water-shedding design principles. The Durango has had this problem going back many years. I sealed up my Durango tail light and had no more problems.

I've not seen anyone post about 2025+ having this issue. The 3rd brake light issue was fixed along time ago. Hopefully, they fixed the rear window on the newer ones. I had it on my 2020 and dealer fixed it for free. No issues anymore.

I haven't had any water issues with my 2025 and I have had it for 19 months now. The third brake light has been off a couple times to switch out to LED's and still no leaks.

My rear window leak appeared after 4 years. Truck out of warranty. Cost me $445 for a new installation of a one piece glass. I’m not happy about this, but it’s the only problem I’ve had with the truck since day one. Other than the leaky rear glass, my 2021 1500 has been perfect.

The rear window design was changed partway into the 2022 model year. Reports of leaks on trucks built after that are almost nonexistent.
