I realize that this is quite early in the 2025 Model Year to be sourcing camera connections, but has anybody found which cable is to be used from the camera connection-the Fakra connection not the 12-pin-for the trailer camera that is at the left of centre on the rear bumper?

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

I'm still trying to get the rear bumper camera connections sorted out.

Here are two photos of what is there; the bottom 12-pin connection is, I would imagine, for the AUX 1 and AUX 2 inputs, and the top single FAKRA is for the Digital Rear View Mirror Tow Mode camera, by virtue of the pictogram on the exterior of the cover.

Interestingly though, there seems to be more to this port than just the FAKRA connector. Also, I have the DRVM, but without the second 'switch' to activate the Tow Mode Camera.

I've been trying to find information on this upper connection but so far it's been pretty elusive. The dealers seem to know nothing about any sort of cable package.

Jimmy 07-do you have any ideas?

Others that have the system can help more, but I think the lower connector (12-pin) is for the trailer surround camera system. The upper connector is for the analog Aux cameras that tie into your digital rearview mirror - allowing the view on the rearview mirror to show behind the trailer.

This is completely wrong.

The DRVM is DIGITAL. Always has been. Unfortunately RAM has changed suppliers (and coding) at least once so depending on years, they're often incompatible.

The 12-pin has always been analog/surround. The Surround CVPM and AUX 2 camera inputs send signal to the UConnect radio screen.

You're just adding confusion to the thread.

My apologies. Don’t mean to confuse.

See if the info here helps. Post #16
