2025 Passenger screen compatibilities

Hoping somebody might know the answer to my question concerning my new 2025 ram 1500 with a passenger screen. I have had success hooking up a fire stick but when attempting to mirror my phone or iPad with an HDMI cable, the device is not recognized. I read somewhere that mirroring an iPhone or iPad was possible but haven’t been able to get it to work. Maybe I’m missing a setting or doing something else wrong. Eager to hear if anyone knows the answer. Thank you.

Update: found another 5GR thread saying an Apple adapter was needed…ordered and will let you know.

Any update on using the adapter? I'm having the same issue. I can get an android phone to work but not an iPhone.

I just got my truck and am attempting to hook up a phone or computer or iPad or anything and no matter what cable I plug in it won’t recognize it. Tried a couple different cables. The screen just says “connect hdmi cable”

Any updates on this? I also got a hdmi to iPhone cable and could not get it to play. A barcode for a mirroring app popped up and o downloaded the mirror app but could not get it to work.

I cant comment on the Ram, but with our GW's passenger screen, the HDMI to iPhone cable worked just fine with both iPhone and iPad.

I bought a fire stick and was able to get it setup and showing on the passenger screen bit can't figure out how to get the audio through the truck - anyone able to help? Additionaly have no idea how to screen mirror (android) phone - does it require a cord of can or be done wireless like a TV? Tried looking in owner and radio manual with no success.

Did you try pairing headphones using Bluetooth?
