Just wondering if its possible to order tungsten or limited housings and wire them into the factory Laramie lights somehow? There's gotta be a way. I miss my 2022 Laramie just cause of the lights 😪 I want them back lol if anyone has any idea about a plug&play adapter or a way to do this please inform me? I asked about the DRL when I got my truck and the salesman didn't say the limited or tungsten would have that. He acted like the new year they just done away with it. I would have happily waited for a limited if I knew they would have had the upgraded lights. Pay $70k for a truck with practically every option from a passenger screen and panoramic roof to 22 inch factory wheels yet it doesn't have LED lights? Stellantis should offer money back on these trucks or offer replacement option for the lights from the dealership. I know I'm not the only one bothered by this. 🤷🏼‍♂️😂 if there's another forum already I couldn't find it besides for older rams. Thanks

From the other threads on this issue on the forum there is no plug and play solution for swapping the lights from a limited or tungsten. I don't think you'll have any luck asking for money back since Stellantis did not claim to be including LED tail lights or DRL on the 2025 Laramies although some folks who had the headlight animation listed on their window sticker on Laramie or rebels with level 2 have apparently had some success with compensation. All the manufactures have been making changes and removing previous features with refreshes the last few years so it is incumbent on buyers to make sure we take the time to understand all the changes including what we are gaining/losing as I learned with my 21 - 23 swap and again as I am swapping to the 25. I am not happy about the change in the lights either as I like the LED look and the amber turn signals in the rear but I am happy to get the fender flares and reclining rear seats back that were pulled in 2023.

I still can’t wrap my head around why Ram took that option away on the Laramie and Rebel. Like they are doing everything possible to make sure people don’t buy their trucks. It’s that one thing I absolutely hate about my truck and it sticks out like a sore thumb. I ordered a set of lasfit led bulbs that replaces all of the halogens for now, hoping there will be a way to configure to the factory LED housings in the future.

Agreed.... I noticed the DRL b4 I traded my 2022 Laramie for my 2025 but I didn't notice the tail lights. I couldn't not belive it when I realized it.

My thinking is that its either a cost cutting solution, and or to differentiate the trim levels more, making the upper trim levels more appealing for buyers. You may be able to get aftermarket lights that will have DRL's, but I have found most are cheaply made and don't looks as nice as the factory ones. I have some experience making factory lights work in older trucks, and trucks with trim levels that do not includes some lighting "modes", but to get them to become "animated" would require some research on how these are animated, if the animation is built into the lights or if they are controlled by the computer. I would have to have my hands on one to know. I am sure it "could" be done but the amount of time and effort my be cost prohibitive.

It would be practically impossible for a dealer to install them. They would need to swap out the tail lights and headlights, swap out the left chassis harness, body harness (entire interior comes out for that), and left dash/engine bay harness. Then after that, the body computer needs to be configured for them, but the sales codes to configure them are not available for them to add to your VIN.
This is from another thread on the same subject. Seems like it could a challenge.
