Noticed recently that I no longer have headlights coming on when I lock or unlock the truck in the morning. I’ve checked and re-checked all settings in the uconnect that should permit this to happen, and all are set correctly. Headlights function normally while driving.

Also noticed that, ever since I bought it (March 2025) the EViC (digital) and uconnect screens seem to both have a significant “delay” when they switch to nighttime mode. Headlights will activate but neither screen will dim to its appropriate nighttime level immediately with headlights turning on. The rest of the accent lighting and instrument lights follow the headlights and immediately dim appropriately.

Any thoughts?

Here’s a video of what’s happening with my truck. Any help would be appreciated.

If the option is enabled like @mbarber84 showed, be sure to check and see your overhead console to make sure your interior lights button isn't disabled (interior lights do not turn on when door is open). Your greeting lights including tails illumination is tied together with your interior. When you disable your interior lights, your greeting/approach lights at unlock is also disabled.

I found this out on my '25 RAM a few weeks back as I usually disable my interior lights when door is open. Now it's on because I like the approach/greeting lights when you unlock.
