I am in the other boat. I have standard mirrors on my 2025 and I am looking to swap for towing mirrors. Does anyone have some they’re selling or want a trade? I have a 25 Laramie so standard powered mirrros with chrome caps. Thanks!

hey guys, i found a 2025 im interested in but do not like the goofy tow mirrors and wanted to know if anyone has swapped out the tow mirrors for the standard mirrors or the other way around ? how much ? how hard ? its a rebel level 2 without surround view. thanks

I bought a 2025 5500 with the Big Horn pkg. I was told it did have elect. extendable, foldable mirrors. It does not. My fault, I shuda checked it out myself. I tow a 47' Goose Neck RV. The manul mirrors are a real pain in the butt, when it comes to any adjustments. Its all VERY manual and if ya dont get it right ya gotta try again. When your alone, its a REAL pain. Is it possible to purchase and install the mirrors I wanted from the very begining? I dont wanna end up payin the price of almost a new truck to get them then have them installed. I want to do it all on my own. I am a retired Tractor/Trailer mechanic. I am relitivly adapt with maintenance. Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.

I received my new mirrors in yesterday and got them installed this morning. Very easy job just take your time with the clips. Everything works from the turn signals, blind spot, heating element and power adjustment. Only thing that does not work is the power fold. Hopefully AlpahOBD in the future will allow me to turn on the function.

Did you have the 360 surround view camera? That what my towing mirrors have. I wonder if your new ones have that

I have a 2025 ram big horn with the night package and towing mirrors. I also have heated mirrors and 360 camera. The one bad issue with these mirrors is they are manual fold only. Is it possible to switch to different years of rams that had power folding tow mirrors with 360 cam. My buttons on door has spot for auto folding but the button is not installed. Any way to do this it’s really hard to get in garage without this feature. I know it might be expensive but it’s worth it so wife doesn’t hit my mirrors all the time.

Does anyone know of this being fixed? I don’t care if the mirrors power fold or anything. I just want the 360 camera to still work if possible.

Looks like the laramie mirrors with the 360 camera are the tow mirrors that flip up. is this able to be put on a big horn or no?

Not yet, but we do have a member that is working to get us access to the BCM that controls things like this. If he is able to do it, it will open up many possibilities like previous trucks.

Has anyone made progress on the programming to convert to powerfold tow mirrors from the manual that are standard on Bighorn trim? In addition to the mirrors and the control switch on the door, would this require a new control module behind the door panel?

I'm switching my dads tow mirrors that are NON power fold on his 2026 to power folding sport mirrors. I've got the door modules, mirrors and door switch to swap out. We'll have to have the dealer program the power folding function, but everything else is a simple swap. I'll make a post on it once it's done. It'll be this week.

Good luck on getting a dealer to do any programming changes.
