This might not be nothing at all and I am no way a gear head so bear with me...bought a 2025 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramire and before it went into the service department ( different thread on these forums...check engine light issues) I notice the trans temp got hot 140 plus....my 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie barely registered above 100 unless I was in 4 x 4 mode for a good duration....thoughts??? Not an issue???

Not an issue, my transmission runs at 180, same as my 2017 did

Are you in Canada (or other metric country) and referring to 140 & 100 in C? If so, then that is way too hot for a transmission, and hopefully it's just a sensor issue and not actually accurate, especially at 140C.

However, if referring to F, that it's not even warmed up, as mentioned by Scram1500, normal temps in F for the ZF8 is about 180-190 without a trailer.
