Just looking to get a number of people having a very clunky transmission with the 25s. I have an appointment set with my dealer in 2 weeks.

Sometimes it feels like the torque converter is disengaging and re engaging when cruising on the highway or around town. Get this road bump feel. 7th and 8th gear.
4th to 5th can be rough, sometimes it’s smooth sometimes it just clunks to 5th.
3rd or 4th slow speed. Let off the throttle and you get tons of decel feel and a jerk when you get back on the throttle accompanied by a metallic clunk.
Intermittent surging in 3rd when applying steady throttle at slow speed.

1200 miles now. Started acting up around 300 miles.

I have some of the same symptoms that you mention above. I was hoping that it would clear up but it’s now 700 miles and still drives the same.

I'm wondering if they are low on fluid? I've been meaning to check mine, which is a very tedious process, but I'll have to give it a try.

Perfect description of the issue!
2 months and 2100 miles later, mine behaves the same.
Took it to the dealer and complained, Tech. said it is normal!!

My 2019 behaved the same way, a couple of months after I bought it, I took it to the dealer and there was a TSB that fixed the issue.
I bet that it is an SW calibration issue. Shifts and the engine revs are not in synch.

2025 Ram 1500
Mine is very herky jerky @ low speeds and low gears. Especially when in traffic. Only had the vehicle for 5 days. 250miles on it. Taking it to the dealership tomorrow. Also, truck is pulling hard to the right and I've already had an alignment adjustment already. Had a 2021 before this with the hemi and never had these issues. Disappointed so far.

Just an update. Truck also buck’s now in 8th gear at 40 mph. Low rpm.

Dealership said normal characteristics of this truck. 🤦‍♂️
I hate that response. I got that response on my 2014 Grand Cherokee for the hvac system. A year later they fixed it. Stupid

Exact issue in 7th gear (2024 Ram Hemi etorque). Feels like a bump in 7th gear like it trying to change gears but it doesn't . It happens around 45 MPH at around 1,500 RPM coming from a decline then when the road goes to an incline it has a small jerk in that gear. Any updates? I hope it's a simple software update. So aggravating

Still experiencing this? I feel like we all have the same shifting. We need to push for a software update. I’m almost 99% sure that’s what it needs

Just something to consider -Ram gas tanks don’t have baffles in them. Could it be the gas sloshing around? I used to notice it on my first truck at stop signs- a slight nudge. Turns out it was normal. It happened more when the tank was half full.

2025 Rebel, 1k miles came up with a check engine light and throwing all types of codes. Would not go over 40-45 mph. Dealership advised it is a valve body trans issue and are waiting for ‘the engineers’ to let them know what to do next.

I had my truck for a short time and a check engine light came up for a … they called me today saying they are replacing the valve body and transfer case.
