2024 Ram 1500 sport Etorque (27324 Km / 16978 Miles on Odometer)
So I was driving the truck home from a snowmobiling trip (roads were wet and salt covered), at about an hour into the drive, I went to pass someone. I got up to 140 KM/h (86 MPH) and when I let off the gas and moved over to the right lane the truck then displayed the following dash lights
-Forward collision alert
-Electronic Throttle control
-Traction control
-Engine light
When these lights came on the truck had no throttle pedal and I quickly started to lose speed, I move over with Hazard lights on, came to a stop the truck sounded like it was running on 4 cylinders, I got back in to move off the road and the truck would only go 22 KM/h (13 MPH)
Once I pulled the truck to a safe spot I shut it off and turned it back on and all is well, except for the engine light is still on.
I went to throw the scanner on to check the engine light but forgot I bought a dodge and I cant scan my own truck unless I pay them more money.
The ram app gave me a heath report for Electronic Throttle Control fault.
So Im going to continue to drive the truck and see if it happens again.
I can't wait for my 2006 5.9 to be done being built.
Ignore me being dumb in the videos, this didn't bother me much because the truck has warranty.
