Good afternoon all, new here, but have been looking around trying to find some information.

I've been looking around trying to figure out my best options to lift my RAM. I'm wanting to run a 3.5-4" lift. From what I've been able to find so far from a bunch of old posts on different forums is that a strut replacement is going to be the best way to go, with UCA replacement, a rear spring spacer, and upgraded shocks in the rear. I plan on putting 35s on the factory wheels.

Has anyone done this or something similar to a Gen 5 Warlock and if so would you mind sharing your builds? Most of the local shops here have not done anything with this factory lift package so I want to make sure I'm on the right track.

Anything over 3.5" will require the front crossmember to be cut. If you don't want to make a permanent cut on your truck, stick with 3.5" and lower.

Budget will determine what kit you want to use, but yes New Struts or (coilovers), UCA, rear shocks and coils is the correct and best way to lift. Do not use spacer, especially on the front.

why do you want to go 3.5-4"?
there's ZERO BENEFITS for going 3.5 or 4". like Cheyenne71 said, more than 3.5" will require permanent cut to your frame (lower arm mounting points on the frame will need to be removed for diff drop) and offer NO additional ground clearance.

Even at 3.5" you ride quality will suffer compared to just a 2" or a 3" as your shocks will be extended at ride height, offering less suspension travel to absorb bumpiness on the road. Also if you gonna do this, do this correctly and use properly rated springs for the rear instead of spring spacers.

Repeat after me:
  • Lift height does not equate to ground clearance
  • You do NOT need 3.5" or more to fit 35s
  • 4" or more is just trying to be a stock 2500 with offroad package.

Also, 2023 Warlock is Ram 1500 Classic, which is still a 4th gen not a 5th gen. But everything else applies.

no it's not a 4th gen.
2023 had a classic warlock and the dt warlock
