I'm attempting to install a 2023 tailgate on my 4th gen 2014 ram 1500 with locking tailgate and camra . I'm told it will fit but need help with the wiring. Any schematic for the 23 tailgate avaliable. Wanting to know what each pin is in the 4 pin connector.

Go to 5th gen and look for or tag Jimmy07. He is the electrical genius. He makes different harnesses for adding accessories for people, and chimes in on electrical issues.
You could have tagged him for the OP if you would have just included @ in front of Jimmy07's name. @Jimmy07.

To mount the 23 tailgate on a 2014, you need to swap over the passenger side tailgate hinge from the 2014 tailgate to the 23 tailgate.
You’ll also need to fabricate your 2014 rear camera into the new tailgate handle.
As far as wiring, here’s a link to where I explain it. As far as I know, a pre-2016 BCM will not allow for the handle release circuit to go into a “locked” state.
