I have a 2023 Dodge Ram 1500 Laramie and have started having issues with the stereo and climate control.
A couple of months ago I had been using the bluetooth hands free for call. After the call when the system went to resume bluetooth music play, only the right speakers worked.
After stopping and turning off the vehicle, the problem was solved.
2 weeks ago the battery went completely dead out of the blue. I could not find anything left on after I charged the battery and reconnected it.
Two days ago, after starting the vehicle only the left side speakers worked and I noticed the surround sound option was missing in audio settings as I was verifying nothing got changed in the balance and fade options.
Yesterday happened to want to turn on the cool seats. All those icons missing in the climate control menu. Temp reading missing too.
Furthermore, the AC only blows hot air on driver side and cold air on passenger side.
Called dealer and they said to disconnect both main battery and auxilary battery for at least 5 minutes to hard reset.
I saw another post on here stating 2 hours which I will try today.
I have only had this vehicle 1 year 4 months and put on 6k miles. It has 44500 on it now.
Hoping the hard reset 3 finger salute takes care of it but I am not sure it will.
Just wanted to see if anyone else had these specific symptoms and what was the cause / solution.
