2023 Ram 1500 Long Horn-dashboard back lighting

Yes it's annoying. Too many auto settings and sensors and grouping of backlighting to the screen settings. The buttons on the dash / steering wheel should be separate from other lighting settings and there is no reason why the toggle switches are so bright but the rest of the stuff like HVAC isnt lit. Ugh.

The one gripe I have with the interior lighting is that unless it's kept VERY dim, the dash lights throw enough of a reflection on the drivers side window that it almost blinds me when making a left turn at night.

Do you have tint? Tint makes that much worse.

Yes, I had both front door windows tinted to match the factory tint on the rear doors and rear window.

Yea that'll make it worse. I've always tinted usually around 15% front and 5% rear and on rural MT roads at night the reflections can be pretty brutal.

Adaptive headlights help a lot and the fog lights illuminating the turn below 25 mph too. Pretty surprised by them. But I just got the fronts done in the RAM and haven't really spent a lot of time in the dark yet. Sunday starts our less than 8 hours of daytime so I'm sure I'll notice it soon enough.
