2023 Cargo Lights with Tailgate Question

My son has a 2019 Ram Rebel, when I swapped out the cargo lights for LED's up by the 3rd brake light I noticed that his cargo lights come on automatically when the tailgate is open and stay on. I just picked up a 2023 Big Horn and this doesn't happen when I open the tailgate, are there settings buried in the infotainment that I haven't found because the button by the headlight knob only turns them on and off and I'd rather it be automatic with the tailgate.
