So I got my 2022 Ram a few months ago. The air flow changes on its own to the defrost mode. Only way to get it back is to turn the climate control off for a bit or turn the truck off and on. The dealer has changed the blower. Blender door. Actuator. But it’s still doing this.
Anything will help.

I think it's a software issue. Mine did that one day when the truck was new. The only way I could get it off of defrost mode was to turn off the truck and restart it. I reset my Uconnect system by holding the power/volume button down for about 10 seconds. I don't know if that's what fixed it or if the problem just went away, but it has not come back in the last year.

Anyone else have this problem? My 2023 Rebel GT defrost blower will just stop blowing. The dealer has updated the software and replaced the battery early this week. They indicated that the battery was finished, and that the power that these vehicles pull from the battery causes certain things to stop working, such as the blower. With the new battery, I didn't even make the 20 minute ride home before the blower kicked out again. Happened the next morning as well. Terribly annoying, especially since I live in very cold climate.

Any thoughts?

Dave
