Last year i had my turbo and EGR cooling replaced. Ever since than i will be driving and my voltage will drop to 11v or lower. I have a brand new battery, Alternator, Even put on a new intelligent battery sensor. They haven’t been able to figure it out.. I had it in month ago they said oh it's fixed, Pulled it up front battery voltage reading 11.7v. But the battery itself it ready 12-14 normal range. It's been in the shop for a week.. Apparently they just looked at it today and called oh well we can't find a issue of accused me of being wrong..

Any suggestions on what is could be the issue.. I’m sure it's something to do with them pulling the cab off and replacing the turbo since that's when this problem started. I've seen voltage drop as low as 7v.. Sometimes it will do it while driving down the road. Sometimes on startup and once i put it in gear it will climb.

I’m sure you’ve done this already, but have you disconnected the battery and let the truck sit for a half hour, and/or perform an intelligent battery sensor reset? After that I would start by checking all the grounds you can see, engine, frame, and cab. Especially since the cab has been off the truck. After that I would test the battery (yes I know it’s new) but I’ve seen some faulty new batteries cause bizarre charging issues. Another thing to check would be the Serpentine belt and tensioner. A loose or worn pulley could be causing the belt to slip. Maybe pull the belt off and make sure everything along the drive is spinning freely and all the bearings are tight. Ensure that nothing is causing the belt to slip or drag. Alternatively, the PCM could be failing and telling the alternator to charge/discharge at the wrong times. Fingers crossed it’s a simple fix. Keep us posted!
