I am a little disappointed in what I saw in the video. I think it was AMS who went to a car show and made issue of the cloth. At first, I thought he was being picky, but now I get it.
I was in the same boat, I expected it to be closer to the 2021. I am very disappointed. I am tempted to not take delivery of my truck and wait till 2023 now. I will decide when I see it in person. We really need a new vehicle and I don't want to pick something else up for such a short time.

Nope. This just reaffirms my decision to not go with the 10th Anniversary edition. That cloth looks like it was scrounged up from a really worn carpet from a 70's porn, and based on the sound it gave off when old boy was running his finger over it, it probably feels like burlap. How Ram dropped the ball so hard on this is amazing, and really, in my mind, calls into question WTF they were thinking.
Agreed…. Looks cheap. They should have just left it all leather like the regular limited and done more quilted stitching. Bummer for those who ordered that truck…..

but, I was Unaware of the ability to see individual cameras as he showed in the Vid. I hope that’s across the board in the limiteds….. I guess I’ll find out Tuesday. 😎

It doesn't really bother me all that much. Definitely not a deal breaker. I like the color scheme more than I dislike the use of cloth. I'm revising my previous opinion about durability and agree after seeing more of it, it's a cost savings measure.

It does definitely suck that they decided to go with the cloth for that, but I might live with it too if I had one. My 10th anniversary longhorn does have the leather/suede combo which is great, but I have to ignore a lot of the western themed stuff in there that I don't care for. Overall I love my truck and it's easy for me to overlook the parts I don't. Will be interested to hear more opinions on these as they begin to arrive.

It's really too bad they didn't go with suede again or just stay all leather like someone else mentioned.

Well said. We can spend a million hours researching and harass Ram with requests (read: demands) for specific features/materials and custom order all day but in the end, no such thing as a truly perfect truck (or anything else for that matter). Just gotta get as close as we can :)

edit: Just my two cents, maybe the material/feel isn't quite up to snuff but it definitely LOOKS amazing!

Still in D status today.
Although Maurice @ RAM chat told me to "check back later this week for an update". Usually they tell me to wait weeks.
Guess that meant nothing as I'm still in D status. Starting to get angrier and angrier every time I get the same status. This is ridiculous!!

I really hate it, but if it was that alone, I would follow through with my truck. I unfortunately, did not order some things I am really regretting (4WD being the biggest) and now I am pretty sure I would just be unhappy with it. I got a WS yesterday and today notified the dealership I am no longer interested in it. While I hope to get my deposit back, they held up their end, so I am ok with losing my deposit.

I was pretty close to cancelling and reordering too (though you didn't say you'd reorder...?) but after seeing what some people on here are going through, I'd be way too scared to end up waiting 10 months for my reorder. So there's that and the fact that my trade-in value is locked right now, and if I lose that, the longer I wait, the less money my current vehicle will be worth as I add miles to it (and that happens quick, I do a LOT of driving).

Even when I was having second thoughts, my build was still closer to exactly what I wanted (after being here for a while, and learning a ton) than anything going to lots right now.

No, I had went and talked to them about a Wagoneer and transferring my deposit. They said I could reorder, but not until my current order came in because I could not have two orders in my name in the system. Initially, my salesman said if I did reorder, he could get me same pricing even though they were no longer accepting FCA Affiliate pricing. He ended up backtracking on that after talking to his bosses.

I guess my days of participating in these conversations has come to an end. I do not see me placing another order and going through this all over again. It was fun while it lasted.

Good luck everyone!

Man, hate to hear that but if you’re not super excited about your order, it’s probably the right thing to do.

Do what I did. Just find another dealer. And them saying you can’t have more than one vehicle in the system is a lie. I have 3. I’m tracking 2 on here now. I check with ram every week and they are all still in motion. All are in D1 and two have delivery dates. I’m scared to put the 3rd one until I get a build sheet on at least one. Because I’m scared someone might drop a dime just incase this is frowned upon. With the prices so low at the time of shopping around compared to now. Carvana and CarMax said they would take both off of me with me making a substantial profit

I figured why not take delivery on all of them. Sell two and keep one. Capitalism at it finest!!!

It’s been 14 weeks waiting now so to speed up the process, I just did an oil change and rotated my tires. That should do it!
8 weeks for me, just put new Michelins on my 15, If 4 new Michelins dont get the ball rolling on my build, nothing will...
Y'all are thinking too small, slap some superchargers on, that'll get your trucks here by tomorrow.

I just put in my order 2 days ago, decided to change color and contacted my dealer today. They said they will put in the request but not guaranteed that it will be successful. They said it will take a couple of weeks. Anyone had their change request fail at this early of a request?
I made a change earlier this week to add the dual pane sunroof. They were able to request and I heard today it was accepted.

I didn't realize until watching that video that almost half the door panel is the cloth material... the seat inserts don't bother me that much. Why couldn't RAM put the same suede they used on the headliner in the door panels???
