Hi Folks:
My 2022 Big Horn Night Edition has a problem in the dash I either never noticed since I bought it last November, or it just started. I noticed on the right side of the ABS plastic around the climate system there is an area I though looked "rougher" than the slight textured in the plastic that is typical, Looking closer it looked like the gray finish was actually bubbling up. I wiped it with a cloth and APC cleaner and an area came off down to the black under it.
I checked the forums and only found a dash bubbling problem related to leather and not the plastic discussed. Is this a known problem? Anyone have a fix or the color code? So frustrating, it stands out like a sore thumb. I know sometime touch up exact match for ABS interiors is available.

Please see photos. You can see the original bubbling problem down well below the area that rubbed off. Any insight is appreciated.

First time I’ve seen that.

Looks like a constant rubbing of a passenger’s foot that has their leg crossed over. Or, maybe there’s direction focused sunlight on that spot if you park in the exact same spot every day. My last idea is a manufacturing defect where the external layer didn’t apply properly and it’s flaking off.

Thank you. Good ideas. I tend to lean toward the third.

yea it looks like something has rubbed that area. if it was from the sun it would be on the top of the dash not the face.

Is this what is stated as Diesel Gray?

the black next to my ac vent bubbled off my BH so i took it apart sanded it down and repainted it with some textured paint it worked but was kind of a pain i hate painting anything. it cost me some time and about 20 bucks but everyone wants stupid money for that trim
