I read most all changes are going to be tech related. One being that they are adding a camera to the 3rd brake light to give bed view camera angle...

will we be able to retrofit the 2020 Ram 1500 with Camera/LED third-light ?

Dimensions probably wont be an issue, but to wire it and talk to OEM headunit is the question.... would love it if it works with a software update after all wired up.

Not likely but you never know. They don't have a good track history for making new features work on previous model years.

Hopefully they FINALLY put a decent gasket on the new brake light this time around.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that. This has been a known issue for years, and they haven't been concerned enough to fix so far.

I was told that the wiring for the cargo camera is already in place with my 2019 2500 I just have to have the dealership program the camera computer on u connect. Right I can't find the camera anywhere on the after market sites.

No big design changes for 2022. It will be upgraded electronics and just as buggy as the current version.

Maybe the bed step will be available with multi-functional tail gate--the bed step to left of trailer hitch receiver, not the one on far left of rear bumper that comes with regular tail gate.
