Hey there! Just got a custom forklift loadable lumber rack made and installed at Americoat powdercoating in orange,Ca.

pretty excited about this purchase! Finally no more laying my lumber diagonally .

Thanks! Oh it’s available, you just have to pay a premium for it. I haven’t had a problem sourcing materials at all. I just write invoices that reflect the industry cost increases for lumber so that the customer can manage their expectations.

I’m coming the from the customer perspective. A while back I thought it’d be a good idea to have a deck project built. Doing the pandemic, surely there will be contractors hungry for work, right? Wrong! Everyone around had the same idea: time for some home improvement! And it’s only gotten worse since. But it’s good to see that business is keeping you, and your Ram, busy and productive.

Whether it’s chip, trucks, lumber, or sanity, everything is in short supply. May we live in interesting times.

Yeah construction has been up like 300% since the pandemic started. People get used to sitting around staring at the same 4 walls all day and decide they want to change things up.
Thanks, yeah I’m slammed. Lead time on new projects start is 12 weeks haha.
