Recently traded in my 2020 Ram 1500I’ve had my 2022 1500 for a month, about 1200 miles. I’m loving the new truck, a couple things I’ve noticed between the two model years.
1. On my 2020 the backing sensors were very sensitive. My brakes would slam often for shadows in the gravel, or sealed cracks in the asphalt. The 2022 works perfectly, I’ve had no false alarms - good update Ram!

2. The engine stop/start in my 2020 was able to be controlled somewhat. I knew what pressure to hit the brake if I wanted it to activate, and lift slightly to start up before takeoff. The 2022 will cut out before I stop all the way, so no real way to control it without hitting the button. Jury is out on this but I’m getting used to this still.

3. Production quality was good on both, I have more options on the 2022, door gaps on doors and ramboxes are all good. Only thing I have noticed on my 2022 is the the “vin” sticker on the dash usually visible from outside is misaligned. You can not see the vin without opening the door. This model has HUD not sure of the extras in the dash are causing the issue.
4. UConnect 5 is awesome. I have the base 6 speaker (in both 20 and 22). I liked UC4, but UC5 is totally customizable, wireless CarPlay awesome! Max volume wasnt possible in the 20 without fading, problem does not exist in the 2022. Only problem I have had with the 22 is during phone calls Bluetooth occasionally jumps back to the phone, then Back to Bluetooth.
5. Big Horn 2020 vs 2022 grill. Totally a personal opinion but… I like the updated grill on the 2022.

In the end there’s a reason I got another Ram, I spent a little more the second time and got the options I wanted. Worth it! All and all a solid truck 1k in.
