2020 Rebel. high rpm slow to shift especially in low gears

I have a 2020 rebel, the RPMs are running very high and it slow to shift into gear in the low gears. when you try to accelerate quickly, it jumps into the high RPMs and then takes a while to shift into the next gearr. I’m new to these forums, so please excuse my ignorance to how this forum works any help is appreciated!
