I changed the power side step on my 2020 1500 limited and now its not working properly ..its sometimes closes but now its half way open and says power side step maintainence required...do I need to go to the dealership..changed it because it broke off in carwash..

Where did you get the new power side step from? Salvage yard? It is possible you got a faulty one.

That is good, but it is still possible it is faulty. Just to be clear, one side is not working, but the other side is working fine? Or is neither side working now?
