Hello everyone,

I’m about to purchase a 3.5 ready lift for my 2020 Ram Laramie 4x4. I have Normal suspension with no air lift. I’m trying to figure out labor cost. A local shop is quoting me around 3k to have it installed with the alignment, does this correct or close?

I wish I had the skills to do it myself but I don’t .

Depends where you are, obviously.. But local for me (Central Iowa) that is EXTREMELY high!!. More like $1000-$2000 around here, depending on where you go/who you know.

Not sure if it helps, but normal hourly rates around here are anywhere from $80-$120. The actual new dealership is going to be way higher than a smaller local shop obviously, but also too a shop local to you that installs lift on the regular will always treat you much better on labor if you order the parts thru them! Something to keep in mind
