Nissan announced they will no longer offer the 5L cummins diesel engine for the XD Titan after 2019.
Titan sales never really caught-on let alone XD diesel sales even with good discounts. The 5L is a relatively thirsty older heavy engine with some creeping reliability issues. Add to that several new half ton diesels with upwards of 30mpg highway, improved hp/tq numbers, and there was really no competition.
