My 2020 Limited auto brake release is temperamental, sometimes it auto releases and sometimes it won't, except in the morning it will always auto release as soon as I put it in Drive, after that it's hit and miss, I complained to the dealer who told me to just press on brake pedal harder, didn't work. Very inconsistent but I put up with it as its a small matter. It's a small enough matter but I paid a lot for this truck and I expect it to work right. H/M

Not sure this helps but it will only auto release if you have your seatbelt on when you put it in drive. If you have been doing that, maybe there is a problem with it seeing the seatbelt has been buckled?

Yes I always buckle up first. If it was a seatbelt problem, I would get a notice on the dash and a doorbell chime. No alert or chime is happening.
