2020 Laramie bed

Just picked up a 2020 Laramie Sport last week. It came with the rails with the sliding hooks but it also has these corner supports in the front corners by the back window. I never seen these before and don’t know what there used for. Anyone know?

Those are the corner braces that are used when you have the multi-function tailgate.

Yes, the weight of the barn doors being open has to be supported by the bed sides and thierfore they added bracing.
