So far I’ve traded in my ZR2 and modified my Frontrunner rack to fit my Ram to put my Tepui tent on. I’ve also add a Ram mount for my phone.

Nice work! Just curious, though, why trade a fairly new Colorado ZR2 for a Rebel? The ZR2 is a great offroad truck.

Well I put 35,000 on it the first year. I also have the same payments with 0 interest and we are in the market for a camper and more space. I also get 4 miles extra to the gallon.

Try to get the $250 rebate check from “Bonus Drive”. Its all online, many of us have gotten one.

Yes, do the bonus drive and get the $250, easy to do as I received mine in about 5 weeks

Looks like you got the Crew Cab with short bed, is that right? And being a Rebel it has 3.92 rear end?

You made a great choice! I looked hard at the ZR2 before getting the Rebel- that backseat was the biggest benefit of going full-size to me. That said, I would be surprised if you picked up 4mpg over anything by switching to a Rebel. Well, maybe a 1995 F250 with a 460.

Picked up 3mpg over my 2008 Titan Pro4X. I was averaging 12 with that thing and never saw more than 14 highway. So far averaging 15 with the Rebel with 17 highway.

With his diesel it's definitely possible to see 4mpg increase over a heavy V6.

Yes you’re correct it’s the 3.92.

Completely missed the “Eco” in there- makes perfect sense. Loved the 3.0L in my 2014 grand Cherokee

Thanks brother, I’m trying to start tomorrow. Hopefully I can get my UCA’s tomorrow morning, otherwise I may just do the suspension only.

Well I didn’t receive my UCA yet, so I installed the coilovers without the 3in preload set. The 2in setting put me at 39in compared to the stock 38in.

Man, it’s nice.
So at the 2in set with factory UCA and factory piggyback bil from the ORG:
0 out everything
Soft not to much to noticed.
3clicks on low and high compression
Road - is a smooth and comfortable, the stiffness I can’t complain is not a bad stiffness.
Beach - “Wow” it’s really smooth and easily transition between ruts no major whoop issues.

I’m definitely impressed I love the comfort. Zero complaints from the wife hitting bumps because she couldn’t feel them like before.

Install
Was easy the hardest part is the UCA disconnect, no the a 10mm wrench and hammer can’t handle.

So the suspensions is defiantly a plus and I have no complaints here at all. It's great one trails, nice on the regular road, and polynomial running through sand.

Nice build. What rack uprights are you using and how is it installed in the bed? Did they come with the Frontrunner? How do they attach to the rack? I know you modified the frontrunner from your old truck but I can’t see how you did it from the pics.

I drill taped these and cut these in half

I then took the rack and installed it here on the sides.

How's the suspension feel?

I want something like my wife's 4runner TRD Pro, I know it won't be the same but hers just feel more in control over rough roads at high speed.
