I had the Ram brand tri fold tonneau cover on my 2014. Not the best quality and I was charged $1,100 for it as an option for dealer installed.

I have the Rambox this time. Seems my options are limited.

Suggestions?

Dealer installed the Bakflip on mine for the same price as the mopar version. I was told the mopar is having issues sealing at the tailgate

I bought the Retrax MX. Fits ok. I had to adjust the manufacturer side rails down as low as they could go, but still sits up about 1/4 inch. I also purchased weatherseal tape to help with the tailgate not sealing as tight as it should and it works great. Very, very little water gets in now and I'm a happy customer.

I got the MX4 installed yesterday but can't figure out how to seal the tailgate. Can you help or somebody here? If possible with pictures. THX 26718 26719

I am having this same issue. 2019 Longhorn with RamBox and BakFLip tonneau cover. There is a big gap at the top of the tailgate. Only solution I can come up with is some fat weatherstripping, but that will look bad and probably won't be very durable. Anyone have any solutions with photo?

I went with the extang trifecta tri fold cover for my rambox and it fits perfect with no leaks and the cost is good. Hear in the northeast in rained almost every day since March so that's saying something.

went with the lomax. Works great for me. I messed up and put the wrong rails on the wrong side and had to flip them. Silly mistake.

I'm going to order thick neopreme material to see the bed-rambox area pointed out in the photo @jpaudet
Even if we did not have the cover, that area is still not sealed.

Someone else on here ordered cheaper square and rubber D-style seal from Amazon (or his local hardware store) and did it that way.
My mod is going to be a bit different.

What do you mean? Are you asking if FCA is going to do a recall or something? All of us have made our own seals.

No, I'm asking if anyone in the aftermarket has come up with a solution. I too made my own fix with weather stripping. Looking for something more robust/long term.

That I have not seen either. I was just notified that my rig left the plant this morning. Once I get it I will either use Neoprene or 3D print something with Neoprene or something to seal it. I also saw that the "tie down" holes allow water to run straight into the bed -- I have seen aftermarket items for that.

This is something I’m looking to purchase for my ram with The rambox. What are some on the top tonneau covers?
