2019 wireless CarPlay?

I’ve been in contact with ramcares about my radio. They are telling me that I should have wireless CarPlay, but it might not be working because of my software. I didn’t think 2019’s had wireless CarPlay. Can someone confirm?

Agreed - I thought wireless came out in 2022 on select trim

Thanks. My build sheet only says “Apple CarPlay” nothing about wireless.

I think wireless comes with Uconnect 5. I have that with wireless Android Auto. I would assume wireless Car Play is included as well but my build sheet doesn't say wireless either. My '19 Classic had Uconnect 4C and that was only wired AA. Both are the 8.4 screen.

I have a 2020 Ram and it does NOT come with wireless CarPlay. Although I bought a little hub that plugs into the USB on Amazon that makes it wireless.

Your truck(Equipped with UC4 for 2019-2022) does not support Wireless ACP. 2022MY and up has a new UI, called Uconnect 5, that supports WACP.

Yup, you have UC4.

No UC4s have wireless. I believe the first wireless CarPlay for FCA was the 2021 Pacifica. It wasn’t until 2022 that Rams had wireless.

If your truck does not currently have wireless CarPlay it never will.

Nope lol. Its been what 5 years and still no wireless carplay for 19-22s. Spend the $100 or less and get the adapter.
