Hello all! Just an update for the rumble strip noise that started at 16000km..
It was NOT the rear diff.. although oil was low and milky(never neen through water crossing) drained and refilled.
NOT driveshaft ujoints like the 3/4 tonnes are known for.
It is computer related. After taking truck to dealer ship before heading out to Alberta from Ontario nothing changed.. same nois. Most prolific between 95 and 101km/hr listened to that for 6000km.. six days in a row. Called service and booked it in for when we got home.
New service guy.. sexist.. ignored what I said.. apparently us women know nothing about our vehicles...
Anyways.. they did 4 computer updated, one being a road noise cancellation flash.. guy wouldn't explain anything to me and told me about how it's normal for certain truck noise....
The rumble noise is gone...
The wind noise at the driver's door is not.. must have something to do with the seal between the cab and the box... will be getting that installed... won't fix the door that clearly needs to be adjusted... will be speaking to service manager...
