Went leave this morning and when I pushed the start button it sounded like nothing happened. I pressed it again and nothing not even clicking. I then pressed and held the start button and it stayed in the Run position but was not, in fact, running. Popped the hood and could hear a noise that sounded like a hum which would go for 10 seconds or so, stop, then start humming again. I had to pull a battery terminal to get it stop. Am I looking at a bad starter or something else?

Bad battery most likely. I'd check battery first then the starter. And don't just check the voltage because that has nothing with starting amps.

Does the key fob work at all? If not, it could also be the wireless hub. Nothing works if its offline for any reason.

Welcome,
Read lots as there is a large amount of information to learn/use here/
It will/can be overwhelming at first, but it will get easier.

Do you have an E-torque system, as that may also be a factor
  1. age of the battery is also a factor, weather
  2. temps are a factor.
Get your battery load tested, and you should have your answer as to what possible problems there are.
There are reports that some trucks develop parasitic voltage drain for several reasons, but beyond the scope of this question/problem.
There are several posts on many forums, as well as this one, for your research to see what problems and solutions match your circumstance(s).
