2019 RAM Rebel Towing Brake Controller

All, I got a 2019 RAM Rebel. I want to get the factory brake controller installed. I find them all over the internet. I went to the dealership and they said it is not yet available, but they are working on it. I am confused. Are the ones for sale on the internet an earlier model that doesn't work with the 2019 RAM DT? I do realize the dealer needs to do a software update after install. Any insight is appreciated.

I have one in my rebel. From what I've been told you can just install them and then the dealer needs to reflash
