Hello all, today started awesome, driving my truck to get a coffee and had the service air suspension message come up on my screen and stuck in aero mode and can’t change ride height. These are the faults pulled, my question is, does everyone at home just fill the system with air to check for leaks? If so, where at and if not I’ll grab nitrogen but rather save a few bucks

I really feel your pain. For few months I started getting an intermittent suspension fault while driving (C1562-92), but if I hit a bump in the rode it would clear. Ok, I lived with it. Then about a month ago I went out in the morning and found the front suspension deflated/collapsed (C15D9-00, C15A1-00) After starting the truck it would eventually raise the front, then complain that the compressor was hot and not let me adjust the height for over 30 minutes. I brought it to the dealer, and told them about both issues. They said it was a left year sensor that went bad, replaced it for $510, and gave me the truck back. The next morning the front suspension was collapsed again. I brought it back in. This time they said the valve on the left front bag was dirty and they cleaned it. $1255 more spent. The next morning the front suspension was collapsed again.

I called the service manager and let him know what a joke his service department is. What do you guys do, just keep replacing parts because you can't diagnose this properly? He talked me down and asked me to bring it back in tomorrow so he and his "best guy" can go through the system. I told him that it would be difficult for me to believe anything he tells me because of my experience and expense so far. I told him that if he really wanted to make things right with me he should install an airdelete suspension replacement for me. He actually told me that the air system is nothing but problems for Ram customers who have it, based on how many trucks come into his shop with similar issues.

My truck has only 53K miles, by the way. My feeling now is even if the "best guy" finds the real reason for this deflation issue, that this system is too complex, fragile, and expensive to fix for me to not get rid of it if I want to keep the truck.

between the possible air ride issues and the leather dash issues I'm SO glad i got a Laramie without E-T
