Good morning, everyone, new here. I have a 2019 Ram 1500 Big Horn with a 5.7. The problem i have is the oil pan is leaking through. this truck has 56,000 miles of which about 40,000 are highway miles. I live in northern Michigan. Had company truck since 2016. truck stored in my non-heated garage. This truck has Lifetime Maximum Care from Mopar Vehicle protection. they are saying they will not warranty the oil pan because of corrosion. Wondering if anyone else had this problem and if so, what happened.
It's at the dealer now @ $2400 to replace oil pan. Called Mopar vehicle protection CS, talked to a lady that I couldn't really understand and she would not transfer me to a higher up. What should my next step be?

Corrosion is an outside factor. So it’s technically not covered. Dealer could throw you a bone and take the risk of not being reimbursed for the repair but most won’t.

You might want to search this forum for the posts about the 2019’s having issues with the oil pans not being treated and rusting.

My was and the dealer stated they have seen dozens of them. They stated they are replacing those that actually start to leak. I treated mine with POR-15 and so far its still holding oil.

I called 2 dealers and they said it is a problem, but good luck get them to cover it.

My 2019 had the rusting oil pan issue but was resolved via a motor replacement under the lifetime warranty. Sorry for your problems particularly considering Ram/Stellantis should step up to the plate for the replacement.
FYI

After looking all over the web, It looks like Ram had a problem with 2019 models. I see some were replaced, other had problems. Where to go from here?
