Hi all!
After a long wait, I finally got my favorite truck—a V8 RAM! She's used and has a few dings here and there, but I absolutely love her. Planning to show her lots of love and keep her feeling brand new as much as possible.
Really glad to finally be part of the community. Cheers!

I have pretty much same truck , color stuff like that bought mine last year with 60k on it 5.7 very happy solid well built truck you will be happy,

Thank you all of you, and I'm sorry for delayed response!

So far what I did myself:
  • installed running boards https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BNZVPFQ3,
  • got Fumoto long nipple oil drain valve Amazon.com - also wondering if I should get drain valves for the differentials since i have 4x4
  • hardwired 4 channel dash cam - Amazon.com will have to probably make a post about that, cause I'm not sure where to run rear dash cam cable, from the tailgate to the cabin, I think I've seen some plastic plug underneath the rear seats that possible will allow me to run this wire into the cabin but I'm not entirely sure ...
  • reinstalled soft tonneau that came with cause the clamps were rusted Amazon.com and all misaligned as well one front latch was broken: Amazon.com
  • installed OBD2 gateway bypass Amazon.com as well purchased OBDLink MX+ Amazon.com however I didn't make any changes yet, just confirmed all works good for now,
  • got center console organizer: Amazon.com
  • got bed rail caps: Amazon.com
  • got tow hitch plug: Amazon.com
  • got this adjustable cargo bar for bed: Amazon.com

Things I'm planning to do soon:
  • change the tint for darker ceramic one,
  • soundproof whole truck and install car audio: front component speakers with amp, rear under seat subwoofer with mono amp
  • detail engine bay,
  • replace halogen headlamps for sequential LED maybe something cheap like this it worth it: Amazon.com
  • replace all interior bulbs for something brighter
  • add some subtle interior ambient lightning
  • purchase some full bed width lockable inexpensive plastic storage container ie: https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/p...-co-heavy-duty-poly-utility-storage-box-44-in
  • replace oil for 5W-30 full synthetic currently I believe I have 5W-20 - been reading that 5W-30 might be one small preventive step for the HEMI tick
  • in the future would love to install passive entry as lack of this feature kinda bothers me, would prefer to keep my key in the pocket at all times without the need to look for it.
I think this is it so far, if you guys have some other suggestions I'm all ears.

Thank you for the warm welcome!

Man Amazon is getting all your money 💰 😂

Congrats. Ive heard mixed opinions on going to 5w30. My previous 13 ram 5.7 I used 5w20 penz ultra platnium, never got the hemi tick. Not saying 5w30 is bad, just seen mixed opinions on it. I use 8 oz of lubeguard heavy duty additive to every oil change, other name is lubeguard biotech, only engine additive I will use in any car, adds dose of moly which hemi engines seem to like. If you want handling to be better get a hellwig rear sway bar, is easy install, no need to even jack up truck. Made huge difference in my 21 bighorn, stops the lean, tracks great now.

I think I will stay with the 5-20 , I have seen a few mopar mechanics say do not turn off the MDS , they it was and still is a bad run of cams and lifters and Mopar was slow, very slow to address this and still is.

I've had my 2019 since new, absolutely adore my truck, no issues to report other than the 8.4" screen delaminating, which is pretty common across all Stellantis vehicles with the same screen, simple and relatively cheap fix anyways. The other is my chair is rocking about 1mm forward and backward, likely a couple of screws in the chair mechanism is loose, also an easy fix.

I've started with 5W-20 and now moved to 0W-20 and do an annual oil change and oil analysis (about 4,000 mile interval), shows excellent wear results, though I thought about 0W-30, but not sure based on the information out there. But congrats, enjoy upgrading her!

On my 13 5.7 I had mds turned off entire time I had it with zero issues. But I also heard mds off can cause lubrication issues, also heard 5w30 can cause mds issues, but I know many use 5w30, so who knows. My 13 had a extra strong oil pump, would run 65psi most of time, where my newer 21 ram runs in 50s, so that could have helped the 13, it ran really good up to day I traded it in.

That was a great video. I'm glad I watched it, I've seen the Wizard on many videos.
He seems like a great guy but I've never seen his wife there before.
I thought he might he might recommend a brake fluid flush.
