I was having the same Apple Carplay issues that a ton of people have been having, so after all else failing, I decided to try to reset the trucks computer by removing the battery cables. Once I reattached the battery, it was dead. Thinking it may have shorted or dumped somehow, I put it on a trickle and was able to start it after about 20 minutes on the charger. Got normal 14.4v reading while driving. After I parked it, I went back out an hour later and was showing 10v and it wouldn't start again.
Did the battery somehow die exactly at the same time that I unhooked it, or is there something else I can do to diagnose the problem before getting a new battery?
