As promised before and after pics of my ram I put 35s on yesterday.

Before pic is stock 22s with 285/55/22 nitto ridge grapplers ( very hard tire, crappy ride )

After xd 22x10 -18 with 35/12.5/22 Radar AT5 ( wish It had a more aggressive look but I was going for ride quality and I’m on the highway all the time )

Minor rub that can be solved with trimming a little bit of plastic.

Over all very happy so far. I took a ride down the highway and through the city last night. Very little road noise, very comfortable ride compared to the nittos.

Beautiful setup! What lift do you have on there? I was hoping you might be able to offer some advice on tire size for my 2022 ram 1500 Bighorn. I just received my 3 inch BDS fox Coilover lift and am debating. BDS suggests 33x 12.5s but I have also been told to put 35's on. The lift provides 3' lift in the front and 1.5' in the rear. What would you suggest? Also, I attached images from the website of the setup. Would be eternally grateful if you could tell me the tire size you estimate in the image 😂
Here is the kit:

Go 34-35's depending what you want. I'm looking at the same kit myself since I plan to have this for awhile. I just hate the price tag :ROFLMAO:

I'm contemplating around a 34.5 X 11.5 to save some weight and still look good. 285/55R22 or 295/55 R22

Thank you so much for the reply- I'm going towards 34's! I reached out to CJC offroad and they gave me the following info "we'd stick with the same 18x9 -12 offset wheel, but move down to a 315, 305, or 285 tire. Those are 34" to 33" tall, and would offer a nice look, with less fender liner trimming than a true 35/12.5 tire." Just curious, what is the difference between a tire aspect ratio of 55 and say 65?

The following is the difference
If you click on the tire calculator link above I posted it will help with a lot of decisions when comes to tire size.

Thank you so much for the information! Super helpful! So I'm thinking 295/70/R18 (34.3"x11.6") with 18x9's (-12) offset. What do you think? About half of the posts on custom offsets with this configuration (and a level kit) state they have some rubbing... do you think the additional inch on the 3' lift will eliminate this?

It will depend on where the rubbing is and since you're moving the wheels out and running a bigger tire causing the rubbing you won't know until either installed or asking someone with same exact setup. Usually I've seen it mentioned it's plastic that can be heated and pushed back.

Sorry for the late response. I only have the ready lift 2.5 front level kit with upper control arms. I do have air ride so I got revel links on the front and rear raising it about another inch. I could put it a little higher but the ride gets a little rough and I want to still have my off road modes. With the 35s there is a tiny bit of plastic rub in certain low speed turns. Nothing that can’t be fixed with a little trim or bending. My rims are a -18 offset, something else to consider in your set up. At the end of the day I’ve seen 1500s with a basic level kit clear 35s. It kinda just turns into a risk reward or how much you really want the look situation.
