Is it possible to remove the center console front cup holder rubber insert for cleaning? I've tried pulling on it gently but it doesn't seem to want to come out.

I removed my center console rear cup-holder insert in the Rebel, had to pull very hard to disengage the rubber nipples that secure it to to the surrounding plastic. Was not easy at all to reinstall.

Because this is not the way to do that lol... You need to remove a few screws from the bottom of the trim, then you need to remove the plastic trim and only then you can remove the rubber insert.......

There are not screws. The trim piece is held by clips.

Use a flat head to gently lift the trim piece from the cup holder side of the trim, the clips will come loose. Then you can place the insert and replace the trim piece.

he wants to remove the front ,not the back center console.i do believe you have to remove some screws.

It answered the question in the post I responded to...

The console pops up and out of carrier then you have to remove the 6 rear torx screws that hold in guard plate and loosen the three in the front to remove cup holder insert. After removing screws there are three loops on back of cupholder that can be unhooked. See pics

Glad I’m not the only knuckle head that just pulled it out

Given all the trouble to pull the front ones out, I will just be extra judicious in cleaning them while still in place.

Just vacuum, then spray some windex in there and wipe it out.

Center console rear cup holder insert is part of the center console end cap.
