2019 Laramie Black... from 2017 Rebel

Hi everyone - picked up my Laramie 4x4 yesterday coming from a 2017 Rebel 4x2. So far, it is honestly shocking how much this is improved! Black package, panoramic roof, rambox, level 2.

But now in the market for:
-running boards (Ionic 41?)
-Tonneau (Extang trifecta 2.0)
- bed liner (linex I guess)

Not at all. I was coming up out of warranty on the Rebel, it was a lease I planned on buying. I’ll be honest the 4-corner air made me nervous. So I just went looking to see what my options were getting out of that and this seemed to make sense. I loved that Rebel, but so far no regrets at all. I could drive either truck forever- just awesome products.

Did you get the Extang Trifecta 2.0? If so how do you like it?

I have not yet- keep lurking deciding on what to buy. I had it on the Rebel and it was as close to bone dry as possible. I used to live in Boca too actually, so we got that FL rain. I think nothing is absolutely perfect, but it was good.

Not sure why I’m debating on getting something different this time to be honest. I saw you had a bad experience with Lomax, but that seems to be an anomaly.

You can get that Extang for about 450 shipped.

Yeah it's killing me because I want it to work so bad but you've seen the pics I'm sure....just not cutting it. I really think that you have to have an over the rail cover to stay dry down here. Have to keep those tailgate to bedside gaps covered. So now I'm looking at the best over th rail style and almost all of them are soft styled besides the Extang Solid Fold 2.0, the hard one piece that I have no use for, or the Diamond back that is badass but is not practical since you lose access to anything tall..

I had that 2.0 signature, the more matte black fabric. It was really nice. Light to pull off. Looked pretty sharp on. I’ll likely just end up ordering another honestly.
