2019 cab mats

My new cab mats keeps popping out of the center and blocking air vents under seats any tricks to installing them

I don't have the new 2019 yet but on my 2014 I let them sit in the sun for a couple of hours then popped them in and they pretty well molded to the floor.

Mine take a significant effort to pull apart so if yours just pop apart at random id say the latch is probably broken.
