2019 big horn bed problem

Hi new to this site- I just got a 2019 2500 big horn and purchased a backflip tonneau cover for it. Tried to install it and it wasn’t even close to fitting. Measured the bed before I packed up the backflip to send back- the inside dimension at the tailgate is 62” and the dimension at the cab is 65 1/2”- over 3 “ difference wt?? Has the factory drop in bed liner- maybe something happened when installing that? Bed dimensions when measuring from the bed floor are the same- anyone have this issue?
