2019 2500 bighorn switches

I have a 2019 bighorn 2500 with towing and exhaust brake switches next to each other and 3 open slots for other switches to be installed. My question is do I need to access the back to put new switches in or run a wire? I’ve been reading maybe there’s a plug under the hood for these aux switches and I may not need to access the back? It’s for led lights I’d like to hook up to a factory switch. Need knowledge and Info please!!
