The V6 is a good engine, but MPG difference over the Hemi will be minimal. Yes the Hemi used to be a hog but the 8 speed transmission really helped with the efficiency especially if you stick with the 3.21 gears.

I'd have to agree with ric2020. Even though you will face a penalty mpg wise with the ET hemi, a Limited isn't a light truck and the extra power will be worth it. Resale for a V6 gas Limited will suck.
Don't know how you can find a Limited v6 gasser unless you order one or are willing to travel. If you want one bad enough, hop a flight to Florida.

If you want a lower trim, there;s two I found just now (on the 5th dealer search of inventory in Houston). Understand that you want what you want but do think about a few years down the road as well.

Awesome investigative work!!! I'm stuck on a Limited(air suspension) or the Laramie. I found a V6 Gas Limited in Rockwall(Dallas) - I may drive up there Saturday and test drive it. The good news is the Auto Show is actually this weekend here in Houston so I get to go pester the Dodge Reps(probably just some hired off the street teens with Dodge Shirts on lol). I asked another poster what his GVWR was on his limited V6 - I was going to compare that against the Ford F-150 V6 and see what the differences were. Twice as many F-150 units were sold here in Houston vs. Rams. I would assume they would hold their value pretty good especially if the V6 catches on down the road as being the non-gas guzzling Ram.

Definately head up to Rockwall, just don't tip your hand that "...you haven't been able to find a v6 gas Laramie/Limited and you really want one" as that reduces your negotiating power. Maybe more of a "I'll take this dog off your hands for this price".

I see you have a Limited. Does the air suspension noise bother you or make you nervous at all? I have never experienced it before and I test drove a Limited Saturday and I was a little surprised at the noises it was making. I am guessing that is probably the main difference between the Laramie and the Limited right? Looking online - I am seeing pano roof looks like limited only as well. Let me know your thoughts.

I just realized that most of those are diesels... so much for search criteria that said "V6 flex fuel"...
Anyway, put your lazy salepeople to work for you. It's also quite possible that a dealer can trade trucks from someone else, even like in OKC. You may have to have 4x4 though.

Bought the truck for her. Requirements 1st and foremost were:
color of exterior
color of interior
smoothest ride possible
pano
12"

I got to make all the hard decisions like drivetrain and box length...

The air suspension is just a bit smoother than no air from my test drive. I can't say how much, but having had air suspension vehicles in the past, it helps with load leveling as well. She likes the pano but its rarely used... (?) No noises other than the air pump sometimes. No problems like others up north have with cold (it takes real cold, nothing you'd experience).
My son and his wife liked it so much they bought their own Limited 2 months later. No pano but same otherwise. They don't miss the pano. They got the level 1 with all the extra safety and 360 camera. I'd recommend you get that, I miss the camera.

Mine is a "grandpa" soft ride street truck, we are in our 60's and thus our demographic is quite different than the rock crawlers. I'd have been happy with a Laramie w/o air ride for $15K less but the colors and double stitched leather overruled...

If you want to fly up here I've got your truck (but its a 2019 4x4) at the dealer I bought from, Kernersville RAM in NC. Cheap for a Limited at $49K:

I would be curious to see what your truck weighs - If you have a chance can you share a picture of your GVWR and your max payload weight?

I actually weighed mine after I bought it. I don't have the weigh slip with me but it was a little over 5100 pounds stock. I don't know what my spray-in bed liner weighs but with it, my hard tonneau, OEM bed step, OEM cargo rails, OEM side steps, and the other items I have installed or carry I'm probably around 5500 pounds now.

Good afternoon everyone - I am new here and I am needing some help with input from you guys/gals. I currently have a 2007 Ram 1500 Lonestar Edition V8 Hemi and I am going to be buying a new 2019/2020 Ram 1500 Limited. When I go to the RAM Page to configure a RAM 1500 I get 3 engine choices - the V8, the V6 and the V6 Ecodiesel. I have had a V8 Ram 1500 for 15 years now(2 trucks) and I do not need a V8. I live in Houston(flat) and I do not tow anything. I simply want a V6 Gas Dodge Ram so I can ride around and have good gas economy. I have been to a few dealerships over the past few weeks and there are literally ZERO V6 Gas Dodge Rams - all these sales guys are trying to get me in a V8 Hemi and I just do not want/need that power. I had a guy today tell me there are only six(6) V6 Ram Limited's in the Southern US and they are mostly all in Florida. Can y'all provide me some input on why this would be? The sales guy today wants me to come drive the V6 Ecodiesel but I have no experience with a diesel engine and I am not sure this is what I want - Please help! Any and all information would be beneficial. I just do not understand why Dodge would make a truck option and no one has inventory. Thank You!!!
I flew all the way to Oklahoma from California to get my 2019 Limited with a V6 ( Joe Cooper Dodge in Shawnee, Oklahoma). They picked me up at my airport hotel and the truck was all prepped and ready to go. I was in and out within 45 minutes including the test drive. They currently have four of the 2019 Limited with V6. This is the exact twin of the one I got (I paid $1000 more to get 0% for 60 months):
