There is something obviously wrong with my 2016 Dodge Ram 1500 ST 4 x 4
I have the 5.7 L Hemi with 87,000 miles that is only getting 11.5 mpg avg. mostly on Hwy & a little city driving.
The engine idles rough & has very slight jerking up to 50 mph.
What can I do to the engine to improve the mpg?
I have put proper tire air pressures.
I will check and if needed I will replace the air filter.
I don’t know if the 16 sparkplugs have been replaced yet?
Would a sparkplug replacement be the best action to take?
I have scanned the computer and there are no set DTC codes & no CEL.
What else is possible to tune up the 5.7 L Hemi to run smooth & get better MPG?
