My 2014 Ram 1500 Sport recently (and simultaneously) developed two issues:
1. The instrument cluster randomly stays on after the truck is shut off, killing the battery (new) by the next morning. When this happens, the cluster is blank while driving, although will display correctly for a few moments when I turn cruise on or off.
2. Drivers side passive entry (both handle unlock and button lock) doesn’t work. Passenger side PE works fine.
I have no idea how to fix this, but I’m starting to wonder if the truck somehow thinks that there is a key fob close to the car and keeps the cluster on? Has anyone else experienced this issue?
