20” to 18” Wheels

Howdy! What are the pros/cons going from 275/55/20 to 275/65/18? Overall diameter is very close so no real speedo recal. I’m more concerned with fit and performance, all comments are welcome!

I went from 275/65/18 to 275/55/20 and the only difference that I’ve noticed is a wider tire. I’ve also had 295/70/18 and 275/70/18 on here just as an example. My wife prefers more tire so I’ll be putting the 275/70/18 back on there within the next two weeks.

275/65/18 is an OEM size. That's what came on my truck from factory. I love having the smaller wheel and more sidewall.

That’s what came on my truck with those awful Goodyear tires. Ended up with a nail in it the first week, and a flat the second. Switched out to Toyo tires and I’ve not looked back.
